Christian education is not only talking about ways to educate children of the nation, but also Christian education is holistically paying attention to the entire existence of students. The development of the modern era has caused the character of the nation's generation to decline and moral damage is getting higher. The role of the qualified Christian teachers is very important in improving the quality of education, especially students. Beside the parents, teachers have a big influence in the life the of students. The Christian education is not just to improve science, but to shape the character of students through the role of Christian teachers who have experienced a new birth because only Christian teachers who have been born again are able to do good deeds because the Holy Spirit enables them. Every example of good deeds done by a Christian teacher will influence the formation of student character. Christian teachers who have experienced a new birth as agents of transformation took change play a role in shaping the character of students. The formation of student character aims to make students know the truth and errors and the meaning of each action they do. Through correct understanding students are able to make decisions and take responsibility in the modern era. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the important role of Christian teachers in shaping students' character through Christian education. This paper begin with some explanations of the study focus based on the title. The next explanation is to examine the role of the Christian teacher in shaping students’ character and finally make conclusions and digital era is synonymous with the use of technology that is beneficial for education. The use of technology must be balanced with character education to provide direction to students in utilizing technology. The decline in character in the digital era is evidence that character education has not been implemented optimally so that students deviate from the use of technology and internet networks. Teachers play an important role in overcoming character decline by instilling character values based on Christian ethics based on the Bible. Christian ethics is the basis for providing character education in the digital era. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in implementing character education to overcome the decline in student character in the digital era which was reviewed based on the study of Christian ethics. The method used is a literature review, namely a description of reading materials that are relevant to the research topic. Based on the literature review that has been carried out, it can be concluded that teachers have an important role in implementing character education to overcome the decline in student character in the digital era. The teacher has a role as an agent of reconciliation who guides students to have a Christ-like character with the aim of developing a Christian mindset, social responsibility, mental, physical, and social health and preparing students for the world of work. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT Era digital identik dengan penggunaan teknologi yang bermanfaat bagi pendidikan. Penggunaan teknologi harus diimbangi dengan pendidikan karakter untuk memberikan arahan kepada siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi. Kemerosotan karakter di era digital adalah bukti pendidikan karakter belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal sehingga siswa melakukan penyimpangan terhadap penggunaan teknologi dan jaringan internet. Guru berperan penting untuk mengatasi kemerosotan karakter dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter berdasarkan etika Kristen yang berlandaskan pada Alkitab. Etika Kristen merupakan dasar dalam memberikan pendidikan karakter di era digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter untuk mengatasi kemerosotan karakter siswa di era digital yang ditinjau berdasarkan kajian etika Kristen. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur yaitu deskripsi mengenai bahan-bahan bacaan yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Berdasarkan kajian literatur yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru memiliki peran yang penting dalam menerapkan pendidikan karakter untuk mengatasi kemerosotan karakter siswa pada era digital. Guru memiliki peran sebagai agen rekonsiliasi yang menuntun siswa untuk dapat memiliki karakter serupa Kristus dengan tujuan mengembangkan pola pikir Kristen, tanggung jawab sosial, kesehatan mental, fisik, dan sosial serta mempersiapkan siswa untuk dunia kerja. Abstract Plastic surgery to change the shape of the nose rhynoplasty is a controversy that is present today as knowledge increases in the field of medical technology, increasing aesthetic influence which presents new trends in influencing a person's shape and appearance. On the other hand, nose reconstruction septoplasty is also needed because of an accident, disease or certain conditions in the nose. This paper analyzes the issue of plastic surgery on the nose as an effort to provide an understanding of biblical ethics to place this phenomenon in accordance with Christian ethical principles. The goal is for God's people to consider biblical and ethical principles in making ethical decisions before undergoing plastic surgery. In this study, researchers used descriptive analysis methods and literature studies. The type of data used is in the form of various books and articles according to the theme of the discussion. Based on existing research, researchers found that nose specialist plastic surgery procedures must be carried out according to the conditions that occur and are supported by clear goals and motivation. Such as plastic surgery of the cetoplasty type which is mandatory for the method of healing the respiratory tract in the nose and plastic surgery of the rhinoplasty type which actually does not have to be done because it is contrary to God's will, and does not agree with the perspective of bioethics and Christian ethics. It is possible to do this surgical procedure, but it must be based on clear reasons and objectives, and supported by the unavailability of other options apart from how necessary this operation must be carried out. In the context of adolescent faith development, apart from parents and church clergy, regenerated adolescents also need support from Christian teachers as the agent of restoration in order to restore the image of God in themselves and as the agent of reconciliation in order to restore their relationship with God, others, and themselves all of which have been affected by sin. Christian teachers can function as role models for these adolescents both inside and outside classroom settings. One of the biggest barriers for adolescents to develop a more Christ-like character are their irrational beliefs that influence their thoughts and behaviors. This article will discuss the role of Christian teachers in helping adolescents to become more Christlike in character in their daily life. Dalam konteks perkembangan iman remaja, selain dari peran orangtua dan pendeta, para remaja yang telah lahir baru membutuhkan dukungan guru Kristen sebagai agen pemulihan untuk memulihkan gambar dan rupa Allah dalam diri mereka dan agen pendamaian untuk memulihkan relasi mereka dengan Allah, sesama, dan diri sendiri yang telah rusak karena dosa. Salah satu hambatan terbesar bagi remaja untuk memiliki dan menghidupi karakter Kristus adalah irrational beliefs mereka yang mempengaruhi pikiran dan perilaku mereka.
